Day 1 - Arrival in Rio de Janeiro
Welcome to Brazil!
Arrival at the international airport. Meet and greet, followed by a transfer to the hotel. Check-in. Free time to rest and get a first feel for the "Marvelous City," Rio de Janeiro. We recommend a stroll along the seafront promenade at Copacabana or Ipanema Beach.

Day 2 - Rio de Janeiro: Corcovado and Sugarloaf Mountain
Breakfast. Excursion to Christ the Redeemer and ascent to Corcovado Mountain, including the train ticket and a guided city tour. From Christ the Redeemer, we welcome you to Guanabara Bay, one of Brazil’s most iconic landmarks.
We will continue with a panoramic tour through Lapa and the famous Selarón Steps, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Sambadrome and Maracanã Stadium, the heart of Rio de Janeiro’s sporting and Carnival culture. Lunch included.
In the afternoon, visit to Sugarloaf Mountain by cable car. Located in Urca, a historic and predominantly residential neighborhood with privileged views over Guanabara Bay. The cable car ride to the summit is divided into two stages: the first takes you from the boarding station to Morro da Urca, and the second from Morro da Urca to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain. From here, you can enjoy one of the most spectacular panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro.
At the end of the tour, enjoy panoramic views of Rio’s beautiful beaches. Return to the hotel.

Day 3 - Rio de Janeiro: Tijuca Forest with Saint Teresa by Jeep
Breakfast. Experience a different side of Rio de Janeiro, where culture, nature and authenticity come together on an unforgettable Jeep tour!
The Rio de Janeiro Colours Tour invites you to discover two of the city’s most charming settings: the picturesque Santa Teresa neighbourhood and the lush Tijuca Rainforest. In Santa Teresa, Rio reveals its artistic and bohemian side, with historic streets, elegant mansions and a unique atmosphere. In the Tijuca Rainforest, nature takes centre stage, with lush landscapes, waterfalls, viewpoints and panoramic views over the city.
The tour takes place in an open-air Jeep, offering a more immersive experience and a chance to connect with the authentic Carioca spirit. Perfect for those who want to experience Rio beyond its iconic landmarks, combining culture, nature and breathtaking scenery in a single tour.

Day 4 - Rio de Janeiro to Ilha Grande
Early departure from Rio de Janeiro to Angra dos Reis, followed by a boat ride to Ilha Grande. Arrive in Vila do Abraão, check in and enjoy some free time to settle in.
In the afternoon, take a leisurely walk through the village and continue on foot to Praia Preta, a beautiful beach surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. End the day with dinner at a local seafood restaurant, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and flavours of Brazil’s coast.A perfect introduction to Ilha Grande, combining nature, relaxation and authentic local experiences.

Day 5 - Ilha Grande - boat tour
Today, set out by speedboat to discover the wild beauty of Ilha Grande, where crystal-clear waters, hidden beaches and lush tropical forest create an unforgettable island escape.
Cruise between secluded coves and small islands, stopping at some of the island’s most beautiful spots, including Blue Lagoon, Green Lagoon and Love Beach. Take a refreshing swim in turquoise waters, or slip beneath the surface with a mask and discover the colourful marine life surrounding Ilha Grande. At midday, pause for a rustic lunch by the sea, enjoying fresh local flavours with the sound of the waves as your backdrop, before continuing the journey along the coast. In the afternoon, return to Vila do Abraão and enjoy some free time to slow down and embrace the island’s laid-back rhythm — perhaps with a walk along the waterfront, a drink by the sea or simply some time to unwind.

Day 6 - Ilha Grande - Paraty - Rio de Janeiro
In the morning, leave Ilha Grande by boat and head to Paraty, one of the most charming historic towns on Brazil’s Costa Verde. Spend a few hours exploring its beautifully preserved historic centre, with its cobbled streets, colonial buildings and picturesque squares.
After the visit, continue by road to Rio de Janeiro, arriving in the afternoon. Check in at the hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening in the city. A lovely day combining the natural beauty of Ilha Grande with the historic charm of Paraty, before returning to the vibrant atmosphere of Rio de Janeiro.

Day 7 - Rio de Janeiro to Foz do Iguaçu
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to board the flight to Foz do Iguaçu.
Arrival at the paradise of the Falls and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure to rest.

Day 8 - Foz do Iguaçu - Argentine Falls
Breakfast. Full-day excursion to the Argentinean side of the falls.
Departure to discover the Argentinean side of Iguazu National Park. Access to the trails is by the famous Jungle Train, which provides access to the different circuits. You will walk along a series of footbridges offering spectacular views of the waterfalls from above. The longest trail leads to an impressive viewpoint overlooking the Devil’s Throat, the largest of the falls, stretching approximately 150 metres across. Stop for lunch (not included) in Puerto Iguazú, followed by a visit to the city centre. After the visit, return to the hotel.

OPTIONAL: Visit to the Three Borders Landmark, with a cultural show featuring traditional dances from Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay.
Day 9 - Foz do Iguaçu - Brazilian Falls and Bird Park
Breakfast. Visit to the Brazilian side of the falls.
Iguazu National Park is home to one of the world’s largest protected areas of subtropical rainforest.After exploring the waterfalls, visit to Parque das Aves, an internationally recognised conservation centre dedicated to protecting a wide variety of bird species, including parrots and toucans, set amidst the lush Atlantic Forest. With four immersive aviaries, you can observe the birds of the Atlantic Forest up close. Discover the Black-fronted Piping Guan and the Alagoas Curassow, admire the impressive toucan and its enormous beak, and watch a flock of almost 100 macaws flying overhead. After the visit, transfer to the hotel and free evening.

OPTIONAL: Macuco Safari, an exciting boat ride that takes you very close to the waterfalls for a truly immersive experience.
Day 10 - Foz do Iguaçu to Manaus
At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the Foz do Iguaçu airport for your flight to Manaus. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel to check in. You have free time to rest, or we recommend strolling through Manaus's historic center and visiting the majestic Teatro Amazonas. You might also want to visit the Adolpho Lisboa Municipal Market to discover local products and Amazonian handicrafts. To round off the experience, there is nothing better than enjoying the regional cuisine, featuring specialties such as tacacá or pirarucú.

Day 11 - Manaus - Amazon Rainforest - Canoeing, piranhas, and nighttime caiman spotting
In the morning, pick-up at your hotel in Manaus and departure towards the Meeting of the Waters, where the dark waters of the Negro River meet the lighter waters of the Solimões River.
From there, continue by road through Careiro da Várzea, followed by the river crossing and onward journey to Lake Juma. Upon arrival, check in at your Amazon rainforest lodge and enjoy a traditional regional lunch. In the afternoon, venture into the flooded forest (igapós) by canoe, navigating between the trees and waterways while looking out for pink river dolphins and Amazonian birdlife. The afternoon continues with piranha fishing, followed by a refreshing swim in the river as the sun begins to set.
After dinner at the lodge, head out by boat for a night-time caiman-spotting excursion, using a flashlight to search the riverbanks for these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for the night.
A full day of travel and adventure, combining the Amazon’s iconic landscapes with wildlife encounters and authentic experiences deep in the rainforest.

Day 12 - Manaus - Amazon Rainforest - Jungle trek and forest camping
Early in the morning, set out by canoe to observe the Amazon’s birdlife at sunrise, followed by breakfast at the lodge.
After breakfast, head into the rainforest on a guided jungle walk, where you will learn about traditional survival techniques and medicinal plants used in the Amazon. Lunch included. In the afternoon, venture deeper into the forest for an authentic jungle camping experience. Set up your tapiri, a traditional open-sided shelter, and settle into a hammock equipped with a mosquito net for the night.
After dinner, head out by canoe for a night-time paddle through the rainforest, surrounded by the sounds of the jungle and, weather permitting, a spectacular star-filled sky.

WHEN TO TRAVEL
This itinerary can be enjoyed year-round. However, we especially recommend April to June and August to November, when temperatures are generally pleasant and tourist numbers tend to be lower.
From December to March, temperatures are higher and rainfall more frequent, particularly in the Amazon and Salvador. On the other hand, this period coincides with the Brazilian summer and Carnival, one of the most vibrant and festive times of the year in Brazil.

Day 14 - Historic Salvador de Bahia
Breakfast. Historic city tour.
In the morning, you will explore the beautiful and vibrant Historic Center of Salvador. You will walk through the streets of the Pelourinho, with its lovely churches, museums, and colonial houses. Visit the Lacerda Elevator and the Mercado Modelo to discover Bahian handicrafts. Buffet lunch in the Historic Center. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 13 - Return to Manaus for flight to Salvador da Bahia
Breakfast at the camp in the heart of the jungle.
Afterward, we visit a local riverside family to gain insight into their customs, way of life, and relationship with the Amazonian environment.Following the visit, we return to Manaus to catch our flight to Salvador de Bahia.

Day 15 - Salvador de Bahia and Praia do Forte Tour
Breakfast. A tour to Praia do Forte is a must-visit in Bahia.
With its crystal-clear waters, natural reef pools, and vast golden-sand beaches, this paradise offers the perfect setting to relax and connect with nature. Beyond its stunning scenery, Praia do Forte stands out for its unique charm, featuring lively streets, cozy restaurants, and an atmosphere that invites you to take life at a leisurely pace. It is also home to the renowned Projeto Tamar, where you can see the important work being done to protect sea turtles up close.

Day 16 - Departure of Salvador
