Climate
Equatorial, hot and humid year-round. The rainy season generally runs from December to May, while June to November tends to see less rainfall.

Getting There
Manaus is the main gateway to the Brazilian Amazon, with direct flights from Brazil’s major cities and Lisbon, as also Belém. From there, access to jungle lodges and communities is usually by river.
